Holiday Wreath
Crochet this Holiday Wreath in less than 20 minutes with some yarn and a hook – no elastic band or round form needed.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner
The pattern is written in U.S. crochet terms, complete with clear instructions and video tutorial to help you along the way. Holiday Wreath is crocheted in one joined round. I suggest using a stitch marker or different color yarn to keep track of each round. Holiday Wreath is crocheted in worsted weight yarn and is approximately 2.5 inches tall. Be aware that size may vary depending on the yarn and hook size used. Gauge is not particularly important, just be consistent with the tension you are using. And most importantly, have fun!

Supplies
- Worsted Weight Yarn
- We Are Knitters Cotton (cream) (~12 yards/5 grams)
- G (4.0mm) crochet hook (Feel free to use an E (3.5mm) or F (3.75mm) crochet hook)
- Yarn/Darning needle
- Scissors
- Locking Stitch Markers (optional)

Abbreviations
- sc – single crochet
- st/sts – stitch(es)
- sl st – slip stitch
- ch – chain
- R1- round 1
- ( ) – repeat this group of stitches
Holiday Wreath Pattern Example
For R2 we will work a wiggle stitch over the hdc post stitches. The wiggle stitch consists of single crochet stitches. Your stitches will go from top to bottom back to top by rotating your work as you crochet. Please watch the wiggle stitch video for instruction.

Make a slipknot and chain 30

sl st to first ch to join (careful not to twist); ch 1, do not turn.

R1: hdc in the same st as sl st, hdc in next 29 ch sts, sl st to first hdc to join; ch 1, do not turn. {30 sts}

For R2 we will work a wiggle stitch over the hdc post stitches. You will be rotating your work back and forth as you crochet. Your stitches will go from top to bottom to top.

R2: (3 sc under the next hdc post, sc at the bottom of the ch space, 3 sc under the next hdc post, sc at the top of the ch space) 15 times {120 sts} (you will have 15 wiggle stitches at the end)
Your last stitch will be a sc at the top of the chain

Leave a long yarn tail and fasten off.

Weave your tail through the back of the wreath. Leave a bit of yarn to act as a hanger for your wreath and connect that yarn with a knot in the back.

Add a bow embellishment to the front if you'd like.

The wreath does bend back a bit. If this bothers you, spray the wreath lightly with water and pin it down to dry. That will help to block the wreath and keep it in place.
