R1: 4 sc into a magic circle {4 sts}

Alternate way to begin: chain 2, sc 4 times in 2nd chain from hook {4 sts}

R2: (inc) 4 times {8 sts}

R3: (inc, sc) 4 times {12 sts}

R4: sc in the next 12 sts {12 sts}

R5: (inc, sc in the next 3 sts) 3 times {15 sts}

R6: sc in the next 15 sts {15 sts}

Fasten off and leave a long tail.

Sew ears shut and set aside until assembly.
