• I recommend pinning the parts together before sewing the animal together. This will give you a better idea of where you'd like the parts to be attached before assembly.
  • Attach the body between R18 and R19 of the head.

  • Attach the beak at R11/12 and R14/15 of the head, between the eyes.

  • Attach two stitches of the wing between R9 and R10 of the body - one on each side.
  • (Optional) Attach a piece of yarn to R1.
  • Place the chick in the egg.

    Optional: Glue the top onto his head at a slant. I like to use Aleene's Fabric Glue or a low-temp glue gun.

  • Weave in all the excess pieces of yarn into the body.
