Using color Grey
R1: 6 sc into a magic circle {6 sts}
R2: (inc) 6 times {12 sts}
R3: sc in next 12 sts {12 sts}
R4: (inc, sc in next st) 6 times {18 sts}
R5-15: sc in next 18 sts {18 sts}
R16: (inc, sc in next 2 sts) 6 times {24 sts}
R17: sc in next 24 sts {24 sts}
Fasten off and leave a long tail. No stuffing needed.
To achieve the indentation in the trunk, push the top of nose inward until you reach R4. The trunk will naturally stay this way but I do suggest adding a few stitches if you want to keep it secure.
