Make a slipknot and Chain 12

Connect with a slip stitch to the top of the first chain, making sure not to twist your chain.
Lay your chain in a flat U shape.

R1: Ch 1, sc into the same st as the slip stitch, sc in next st, 3 sc in next st, (sc in next 2 sts, 3 sc in next st) 3 times {20 sts}

Connect with a slip stitch to the first single crochet of R1.

Cut the working yarn, leaving a long tail.

Pull the yarn through the last stitch instead of fastening off.

If you plan on glueing the belt buckle: Weave in both ends.

If you plan on sewing the belt buckle: Weave in the one end, leaving a tail for sewing.
