R1: 4 sc into a magic circle {4 sts}

R2: inc, sc in next 3 sts {5 sts}

R3: sc in next 5 sts {5 sts}

R4: sc in next 4 sts, inc {6 sts}

R5: sc in next 6 sts {6 sts}

R6: (inc) 6 times {12 sts}

R7: sc in next 12 sts {12 sts}

R8: (inc, sc) 6 times {18 sts}

R9: (inc, sc in next 2 sts) 6 times {24 sts}

R10: (inc, sc in next 3 sts) 6 times {30 sts}

Grab a long piece of white yarn and weave it through a yarn needle. Weave the yarn back and forth through R1 to make a faux ball on top. To pull the tip of the hat down, grab a piece of red yarn, pull it through a stitch near R2 and down through a stitch of the main hat so the tip lays flat against the hat. Make a knot on the inside to secure.

R11: (inc, sc in next 4 sts) 6 times {36 sts}

R12-13: sc in next 36 sts {36 sts}

R14: CC to white: sc in next 36 sts {36 sts}

R15: sl st in next 36 sts {36 sts}

Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Add the hat to Santa and you are done!!
