PLAIN HAT

Note: The whole hat is worked in half double crochets
Using color green
R1: 6 hdc in magic circle (6 sts)
R2: (hdc inc) 6 times {12 sts}
R3: (hdc inc, hdc in next st) 6 times {18 sts}
R4: (hdc inc, hdc in next 2 sts) 6 times {24 sts}
R5: (hdc inc, hdc in next 3 sts) 6 times {30 sts}
R6: (hdc inc, hdc in next 4 sts) 6 times {36 sts}
R7: (hdc inc, hdc in next 5 sts) 6 times {42 sts}
R8: (hdc inc, hdc in next 6 sts) 6 times {48 sts}
R9-12: hdc in next 48 sts {48 sts}
Change to color red
R13-15: hdc in next 48 sts {48 sts}
Fasten off and leave a long tail. Weave in ends. Flip up the red part on the hat. Feel free to add a pom pom to the top of the hat.
