R1: 6 sc into a magic circle {6 sts}

R2: (inc) 6 times {12 sts}

R3: (inc, sc) 6 times {18 sts}

R4: (inc, sc in next 2 sts) 6 times {24 sts}

R5: sl st in back loop only in next 24 sts {24 sts}

If you need your nest to be taller, then single crochet in the back loop only instead of making slip stitches:)

Fasten off and weave in all ends.
