BELT BUCKLE
Using Color Grey
Use color yellow if making the elf belt.
Make a slipknot and Chain 16
Connect with a slip stitch to the top of the first chain, making sure not to twist your chain.
R1: Ch 1, sc in the same st as the slip stitch, sc in next 2 sts, 3 sc in next st, (sc in next 3 sts, 3 sc in next st) 3 times {24 sts}
Connect with a slip stitch to the first single crochet of R1.
Cut the working yarn and leave a small tail.
Pull the yarn through the last stitch and thread the remaining yarn into a yarn needle - we'll be doing a seamless join.
Insert the needle under both loops of the stitch to the left of the last stitch - from outside to inside.
Then insert your needle through the middle of the V - of the last crocheted stitch (the slip stitch)- from outside to inside.
Weave in all ends. Set aside until assembly.
