Using color of choice

R1: 6 sc into a magic circle {6 sts}

Do not join

R2: chain 1, turn your work (sl st, 3sc) 3 times {12 sts}

Fasten off and leave a long tail.

If the magic circle tail is facing you, weave it from the front to the back.

If you're sewing on the wing: weave your long tail to the back of the piece and leave it for attaching.

If you're glueing on the wing: weave your long tail and magic circle tail to the back of the piece. Weave and trim any excess yarn.
