Make a Slipknot and Chain 9

R1: Starting in the 2nd chain from the hook, sc in next 7 sts, sc 4 times in last st.

Down the other side of the row - sc in next 6 sts, sc 3 times in last st {20 sts}

Note: R2 starts in the next stitch.

R2: sc in next 3 sts, hdc, dc, hdc, sc in next 14 sts {20 sts}

If sewing muzzle on: Fasten off and leave an extra long tail for sewing.

If glueing muzzle on: Fasten off and weave in all ends.

For a seamless join on an open piece, repeat the steps from the eye patch.

Place an 18mm safety nose between R1 and R2 of the muzzle. Do not attach the back of the safety nose. Set aside until assembly.
